To be Homesick

120x90 cm, Embroidery on Handmade Paper, 2021

To be homesick,  literally means "a longing for one's home and homeland, which he knows provides security in foreign environments where he has not yet used his adaptive skills".

The series, which is based on individually reminiscing happy moments from the past, is the artist's traditional style of embroidery.

It is the work that is created by stitching the technique on different materials. In the project, her works, in which a photographic synthesis of memory, in which the artist's happy and longing memories of the house she was born and grew up in, are processed with a traditional method, are located between the present and the past.
